Shipping policy


VF Comms ships from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The following policy outlines how and when orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.

Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1 to 5 business days

  • Processing time does not include shipping transit time

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day

Some products are made to order or assembled in small batches. In these cases, processing times may be longer and will be noted on the product page or communicated by email.

Shipping Methods and Rates

Shipping rates and available methods are calculated at checkout based on destination, package size, weight, and carrier availability.

We ship using trusted carriers such as Canada Post, USPS, UPS, or other regional carriers depending on destination.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Typical delivery estimates:

  • Canada: 2 to 7 business days

  • United States: 4 to 10 business days

  • International: 7 to 21 business days

Delivery times may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, weather, or events outside our control.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or import charges imposed by the destination country.

  • These fees are not included in product prices or shipping charges

  • Customers are responsible for all customs-related fees

  • VF Comms cannot predict or control these charges

Refusal to pay customs fees may result in the shipment being returned or abandoned. In such cases, shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

VF Comms is not responsible for:

  • Delays or loss due to incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided at checkout

If a package is returned due to an address error, reshipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Tracking Information

When available, tracking information will be provided once the order has shipped.

Please note that tracking updates may be delayed or limited for some international shipments.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

VF Comms is not responsible for shipping delays once an order has been handed over to the carrier.

If a package is lost in transit:

  • We will assist in filing a carrier claim when applicable

  • Replacement or refund decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging so we can assist you.

Partial Shipments

In some cases, orders may be shipped in multiple packages. You will be notified if this applies to your order.

No Guaranteed Delivery Dates

Delivery dates are estimates only. VF Comms does not guarantee delivery by a specific date, including for events, trips, or deployments.

Military, SAR, and Emergency Use Disclaimer

VF Comms products are not guaranteed for life-safety or mission-critical use unless explicitly stated in writing.
