Great plans!

Okay, so, I am far from being a radio dork. I've got a few HT's that I use for emcomm and to listen to local traffic. I just used the plans to construct a GMRS antenna. It was exceedingly simple to do. When I picked up the local repeater using the antenna that I built, I giggled way too much. I'm gonna have antennas stashed all over the place now. Highly recommended.
